Lost Chances
I've met the most wonderful guy
And he doesn't even know
How true my feelings are
How everyday they grow
Lost chances stand between us
Forgotten in the essence of time
Yet the punishment we both receive
Can never fit the crime
One question plays in my mind
Were we destined to move on?
And live our lives as two
But never to become one?
Who knows why these things occurred
Is it signs of fate?
Will Happiness ever fulfill us both
Or is it simply too late?
