Lost Cause

If I have to die for you two to be happy I'll sign my life away,
I'll throw away my wants and needs and I won't be afraid,
I'll tighten the noose so you two can laugh and I'll watch as my vision fades,
as you two smile like lovers do ill pretend I don't need to be saved,
Don't worry about me sit back and have fun I'm a lost cause anyway.
