Lost By Far

My sins have put me in this state of mind
In this frantic selfish plea for help

As our world crumbles and drowns around us I dare to ask for forgiveness , for sanity, for peace and for love

Who am I?

To kneel at your feet and beg you to save me from myself
To fill my children with faith, hope and love
To allow them to live the joy and peace I lost so many years ago

Who am I?

To implore you to end the thoughts and voices in my head
To mend my broken heart and allow me once again To serve my spouse with loyalty, respect and love

Who am I?

But a lowly sinner who has lost her courage, her wisdom and her strength

Who am I?
