Lost Boy
Born into a family with only one parent,
Raised by a girl who was only eighteen.
Taught by a teacher who despised my talents,
Never knew this world could be so mean.
I am the lost boy....
My very first father was a real good catch.
He kinda looked like me, our skin colors matched.
He was there for the first few days but,
since him and moms went separate ways,
everything changed.
I am the lost boy....
Daddy number two...now he was the real thing.
We didn't look alike but we had the same name.
I never got to meet him but, I've heard many stories.
He didn't think I was his so he didn't do nothing for me.
I am the lost boy...
Now, my other dad isn't really mine.
He's my brothers dad but, he was with me all the time.
He stayed around for almost 10 Months
Until he got a new girlfriend and moved away from us.
I am the lost boy....
All I want to do is find my real dad
So he can talk to me about girls, teach me how to be a man.
How to fix a car....
How to handle school...
How to do whats right instead of breaking all the rules.
I know I'm not special
and I'm asking for a lot.
But, I'll do anything....give up everything I've got
Just to find the one man who can fill this empty slot
In my Heart...
In my life.
I am the Lost Boy!
