Lost a Dream
Lost a dream did I,
the only dream ever had I.
How happy would I,
happy on my wedding day
if ever had I,
a diamond on my finger.
Lost a dream did I,
the day he proposed to I,
I looked at him in the eye,
and said I wasn't ready
he cried to I,
I'd regret it forever.
Lost a dream have I,
the only dream I ever had.
