Lost

There's a lost soul behind me
it followed me here
maybe to find its way home?

With no way of knowing
a futile attempt
it's still going to be all alone

I've tried hard to reach it
but to no avail
I know that it's crying inside

I can't take it further
it needs someone else
someone to be its last guide.....
