Lost

I got lost in your eyes
lost in your touch
lost in all that I wanted too much
and I traveled alone
down this path that I chose
dreams paved of fantasy and of gold

I'm not really clear
how long I've been here
but here I am and here I remain
and as you try so hard
not to step on my heart
your bootprints are there just the same
