Lost

To be lost is not very nice
It makes you feel alone
All you want to do is just
Find your way back home.

You don't know where you're going
You don't know where you've been
Its as though you're in a wilderness
You scream and scream and scream.

To be lost is not very nice
It makes you feel alone
All you want to do is just
Find your way back home.

You imagine you hear voices
Whispering in your ear
The confusion drives you crazy
You start to shed a tear.

To be lost is not very nice
It makes you feel alone
All you want to do is just
Find your way back home.

The torment and the torture
As you walk alone
You call out in your hour of need
Please some-one take me home.

So if you find yourself today
Lost and all alone
Just call out Jesus save me
And God will take you home.

Being lost is one of my greatest fears, Leon. In my worst nightmares I am lost and panic. I will try to make a mental note to remember God is beside me, leading me, even when I'm dreaming. You struck a chord with this great poem, Leon. Very thought-provoking and memorable.
