Lost

Sometimes I feel like I'm lost
I'm as lost as a child in a supermarket
I can scream and scream for my mother
But she has found her car where she parked it

The child and I are the same
Except me? I'm lost in my mind
We both can cry in a supermarket
We have both been left behind

I then see the child's mother
Come running with her open arms
The child has now been saved
But I'm still falling apart

I wish this feeling could stop
This feeling of dread and pain
And I know when I wake up tomorrow
I'll have to go through it again

Your introspective poem makes insane amounts of sense to my mind.
