Loss

I said I love you
And I really do
I don't know why I choose my mistress
Instead of choosing you

I don't mean to cause you pain
I want you to feel love
Why do I choose what's wrong for us
And throw it all away with a shove?

I'm leaving to follow something
That can't be good for me
I'll look back and say "I love you"
And that you're the one for me

Can this story have a happy ending?
Only time will tell
In the meantime, I'll still love you
Can you save us from this hell?
