Losing Lazer

LOSING LAZER
     ??????????????
You were just a pup when we first met
And I loved you from the start
I picked you up and took you home
And placed you in my heart.

We had good times together
You’d catch the balls I’d throw
But years passed too quickly
And your time has come to go.

I know how much I’ll miss you
I know my heart will be sore
I know my tears will be falling
When you're not waiting at the door.

You always did your best for me
Your love was plain to see
You're in such pain now
I know I must set you free

It will take time for the
Silence to go away
I still listen for you
Each and every day.

You were the best of dogs
Constant, loyal and true
My heart will always wear
The paw prints of you.
?? ?? ?? ??????????????

Dear Janet, sorry on losing Lazer. Read my piem The cat that left. I am still crying since I wrote that poem. I wanted to die with her not here, I know we see them long after they are gone. I love the cat scratches on my furniture, The permanent autograph of a cat which Reminds me..."I was here," Panagiota Romios
