Lord,give us the strenght to go on...
as we walk amidst many dangers,
and the enemy could be one of our own;
if we could understand someone's fear,
grudge would not stir anyone's anger...
we would be better human beings!
The idea of being alike
the glimmering stars
in Your immesurable Heavens,
has deceived many in their useless search;
lives have been cut short
by the risks they shouldn't have taken...
How could they be like them,
if Your purpose is not nearly that much?
Lord,give us the strenght to go on...
as we live in faith and praise you in song;
there's an unseen evil doing great harm
to those minds that follow the trends,
but the ones who abide by Your rules...
we'll have no worries or troubles like them!
There are paying more attention to stardom
than to their own peace of mind,
riches may make them greatly admired,
inadequately loved and highly favored...
to cherish their charms and luxury so wanton,
but will they win Your favor and delight?
Lord,give us the strenght to go on...
to walk the road without swerving a bit;
and all we ask of you is to keep us intact
in our search for goodness and love...
and in those moments of desperation,
Lord,fill us with consolation!
