Lord Take Him Away From Me

He does not know what he has.
I want to be part of his past.
He claims to be a victim of me,
But he is of the streets.
You want him to be a victor.
I can’t handle this no more.
If you want him with me,
Just push him through your
Open door.
I want another man,
So that I can,
Be a wife and mommy.
If he don’t change today,
Please Lord from me take him away.
He’s still in my heart.
I don’t want him in any part of me.
Meeting and dealing with him
Has been complete turmoil and tragedy.
Just change him Lord,
Or forever take him,
Away from me.

I've been reading these sad poems you have written lately, Nicole, and am hoping that your life takes a turn for the better. Wish there was something I could do to help ease your pain. They say time is the best healer, but right now I can see how much you're hurting. You are in my prayers. Much love, Carolyn
