Lord Knows I Love This Country

Lord knows I love this Country
This great U.S. Of A.
Because I love it so much
I have these words to say

This is the land of promise
Whether we believe or not
Belief has put us where we are
Provided what we've got

Complaining by the wayside 
Thinking woe is me
Will not help us or our country 
To be what we should be

Begin first by believing
There is a better way
If we work to make it happen
Tomorrow is a better day
