Lord I Thank You Kindly By Franklin Price 9/16/2016 Lord I thank you kindly That you came into my life That you gave me family and friends; Could not have a better wife That you sent such blessings to me I'd like to thank you very much With this prayer that I'm writing, That helps me stay in touch. Thank you when you use me To help another out To show me what to do And what life is all about A word, a touch an opened door All ways of helping others What better can we do in life Than aid our sisters and our brothers Please continue now to show me, On each path, which way to go. Can't imagine life without you, I just wanted you to know Lord, when my life is over, And I pray it isn't for awhile, And I look upon your holy face, I hope you'll comment with a smile: “You mostly listened to me, And I welcome you today And thank you for the job you did As I sent you on life's way. “
