Lord Have Mercy

If my world is tumbling down,
And, troubles seem to come around,
O’ Lord, be a fence around me ~
Please come; shine Your mercy on me.

Should illness fall upon my brow ~
I know, You’ll make a way, some how
Having redeemed me on Calvary
I pray my ransomed soul, You’ll keep.

If my ministry should falter ~
I’d place it all on the altar
O’ Lord, be a fence around me
Please come; shine Your mercy on me

Oh should the sun ever cease to shine ~
I pray protection o’er mankind
Spread, Your wings o’er my family ~
Then Lord, your mercy’s shined on me
