Loop 55

Loop 55

Everything changed - on loop 55
A mom and a dad – 2 lost - innocent lives
Emotions were charged - the liquor ran dry
Everything changed - on loop 55

She raised the children – tried to raise them up right
He did his best – but was out drunk every night
She had enough – she couldn’t take any more
She downed a glass - threw the bottle - to the floor

Everything changed - on loop 55
A mom and a dad – 2 lost - innocent lives
Emotions were charged - the liquor ran dry
Everything changed - on loop 55

The night was dark –and so was her drive
The top of that hill – would change the rest of her life
It all ended in the blink of an eye
Horrible ending – two innocent died

Everything changed - on loop 55
A mom and a dad – 2 lost - innocent lives
Emotions were charged - the liquor ran dry
Everything changed - on loop 55

Now she makes the circuit - talks about children and life
Bad choices made – the tragedy that night
That dark road she traveled – and how it altered her life
And how everything changed – when she drank that night

Everything changed - on loop 55
A mom and a dad – 2 lost - innocent lives
Emotions were charged - the liquor ran dry
Everything changed - on loop 55
