Looking Within

This depth of random sorrow
Makes the world seem so unkind
The light of my tomorrow
Lies within myself to find

Nothing's quite as daunting
As proclaiming all is lost
You'll find the past is haunting
When you dwell upon the cost

Creating change is magic
In the scheme of things it's best
Trapped in the past is tragic
Moving on should be my quest

Here laid upon my table
Is such dignity and grace
I know now I am able
There is nothing I can't face
