Looking Past Life

The struggle I go through you cannot see
But yet this is how we all chose to be
Watching, wating for what we cannot see
All we ever want is just one thing
But we focus so much unto the prize
We don't not enjoy the ride, our rise
We fail to see what beyond there lies
We wish to only get to that one place
Not enjoying the actual race
But in this race there is no first place
No one to say they came in first
But the one who enjoys this life, the race the most
Is the one who will have earned the right to boast.

Heyyy B! Wow, I love it. It's so true what you're saying. We'll definitely have to combine our poetic power and write some heavy stuff in WV! It's in <1 week! <3 Elly
