Looking Out Tonight

And the clouds roll in
Deep and dark as sin
And Thor his anvil smashed
The feared lightning flashed

Rolling around the hills
The liquid content spills
The rain came in reams
Saturating, filling streams

Silver forks they dart and dance
Flashing lights the hills enhance
Thor is random with his throws
As all around soaks and grows

From the window, sit and gaze
At mother nature as she plays
At times soft, then shows her might
In thought am safe this stormy night
