Looking Lost

Sitting here at a table
watching people walk by,
looking at their emotionless faces
they look like they want to cry.

Some of them look lost
wondering where to go,
walking around with their carts
just wandering to and fro.

People seem to be confused
wondering what they should do,
they should go home and relax
and sit for a spell or two.

They roam up and down the aisles
trying to figure out what to buy,
dumbfounded by the store prices
they can't help but sigh.

Making my observations
about the shoppers that I see,
some wander around in circles
looking as lost as they may be.

I've never really took the time to write about shoppers. A lot of them...from my point of view look lost.
