Looking Inside Out

Peeling back the layers as I try and find the window to my soul,
Reaching outward extending my thoughts of my innermost self.

Dealing with the outside of me, not knowing my own destiny
I embark on a journey trying to be free.

Pulling down the shades of blindness to redirect the truth of my well-being,
Hoping to find the front of the tunnel that everyone else is seeing.

Alas I follow the beating of my own heart, realizing that by looking inside out,
I was standing amidst of me right from the start
