Looking For a Sign

I ask him to give me a sign,
a validation that he is listening
on this day that I am on the road
on the way to a different home.
I pack my things,
put them on my back
and hit the road again.
This road that's never ending
it seems like I’m born for it,
it feels like it knows me well.

But what do I know?

might be this road
giving my soul another chance to grow?

I can’t argue but just follow
Looking for a sign
to show me which way to go
the wind to blow,
a bird to sing,
and whisper something
I can hear and understand
Another circle to go around..
or ends to meet
another to begin..

Beautifully written, Aida. This would make a great entry for Constance's contest. I hope you have entered it. Best wishes, Carolyn
