Looking Back

Searching for mistakes in rich history, I came across the joy I used to feel and the looks that we both used to steal. What the hell has happened to you anyway, where is the kindness god gave you, was it replaced by the evil things you chose to do? You degenerated in to a hateful mess, because I wouldn’t acquiesce, you decided to spit out poison and distress But you singing your hate monosyllabically, what happened, has atrophy killed your mental acuity and shrunk your vocabulary? But I digress, you play head games I play chess, Either way I meet with success, You’re left will all your regrets. Do you really think it was that easy? You should try it and then we will see. Living life with all this inside, traps me in the great divide. I keep moving forwards in great leaps and bounds, discovering new horizons and sunsets on different grounds, getting greater wisdom as the sight astounds. You see, the world is now my residence, living life without a wall or fence; I got out of the cutthroat race for affluence. Am I dense? Who knows where your life will escort, but I doubt you’ll have much to report, unless of course you count your venereal wart, but let’s cut that short. This new world which you cannot to invade, I’m sorry spouse you don’t make the grade, go back to your new toy and your masquerade. Oh, here you come on another propaganda dissemination run But I anticipated, so that’s checkmate and you’re done Here, have a cinnamon bun. Do you really think it was that easy? You should try it and then we will see. Living life with all this inside, traps me in the great divide. You forget, I know every inch of your consciousness, all the darkness that you won’t express and pass off as mine, how you transgress. You may not be on your archipelago, but your denigration is still easy to know, just take note of how much you show. At least you left some good memories of summer months and activities, but you scarred them all with no apologies. I take a deep breath and count to ten, I ain’t going to let you get under my skin, take a deep breath and count to ten, because I’ll never have to see you again. You are gone and my life rolls on cat like claws now withdrawn I look this day on a brand new dawn No more dancing with devil spawn Do you really think it was that easy? You’ll never know and we’ll never see Living life with freedom inside, let me cross the great divide.
