Looked To the Sky
Darkened by a haunted past.
Escape what lies so deep within.
The torment of what has been done.
My life on earth the biggest sin.
I laugh out loud under the rain
and look up to the sky.
Screaming out the past inside.
What are the reasons why?
Explain the love that isnt real.
Explain what has been took.
Explain why life is set for me
like chapters in a book?
As tears begin to fall silently
the thunder hides my cries.
Tonight I let go something fierce
as I looked up to the skies.
