Look out little boy!
Look out little boy,
You the little boy running through the playground
So filled with joy.
So many things here you love to do
Only you don’t know theirs someone watching you.
Run quick little boy,
You the little boy playing with all his little toys.
You wear your new baseball cap like grown ups do.
The strange man is sneaking up on you.
So run!
Run as fast as you can.
I don’t like the looks of this man.
Get away little boy,
You the little boy, who visits his grandma everyday,
You can’t wait to spend time with your dad when he comes home from work today.
The evil man is behind you watching you play.
He’s gaining distance so please
Don’t stay where you are.
Get away!
Snatched away little boy,
You the little boy who’d sit with his mom and pray.
Did you say your prayers today?
He sits in his seat looking at you like a piece of meat.
Seconds turn to minutes.
Minutes turn to hours.
Isn’t it amazing how much time devours?
Broken hearted parents,
It started out,
Only a few minutes you left him alone.
You never gave up searching
And found him at dawn,
A little boy battered naked body
Mingled and dead.
So much he bled.
So much pain he went through before he took that last breath.
You remember the little boy that played
You remember the joy he had
The joy he gave
His parent’s hearts and dreams shattered
Watching their boy in a body bag
Nothing left but pictures, memories, and a nametag
And a little boy that will now lay in a shallow grave.
