Look Down

Yours and mine together until there is no distinction
On and on I'm driven to the point of madness
Untouched until now, saved for a purpose
Released suddenly in an experienced so sweetened
Living in a way intoxicating to the soul
Inspired to the point of euphoric expectation
Poor in riches but still a Midas in ecstasies
Suffering only from the moments we stole
Always hungering for a little longer or just a bit more
Never quite appeased but always appetized
Destroying my calmness is always assured
My heart is weak and as such I've capsized
Incline yourself to me and hear what I've said
Never before have I felt such dread
Except when you stop giving and keep me unfed
