Notes About The Poem

** This is part of the Hubble Telescope's Deep Field Image ... this amazing "eye in the sky" allows us to see much farther into the Universe than ever before. They pointed it at an area of the sky that was previously thought to be empty space, and what did they see? Billions of sparkling objects!!

But these objects were NOT stars, they were galaxies - each point of light was a whole galaxy, each one with hundreds of billions of stars of its own! The upcoming Webb Telescope will offer visions of our Universe even deeper and more profound ... what wonders will be revealed then?? **

Look Closer

~ fear not, the darkness -

for even the blackest night ...

holds a sea of suns ~
