Ron Derby Poet I do not know?

Lonliness

a silent killer
like a cancer one can't see
devouring the spirit
bringing the strongest to their knees

so subtle does it spread
until the night consumes the day
alone inside the darkness
you've become it's prey

sitting in despair
wondering how this came to be
another victim
for the graveyard of the lonely
