Longing To Linger

The foggy mist rose swiftly from the creek. It encircled the pampas grass like a wreath. The verdant razor blades of grass were bleak. As the creamy plumes were wet beneath On the qui vive for any movement of nature Longing to linger and watch some more Duty calls me to responsibility~ wager If I respond to that call as before

Anitha, We are all doing well at this point in our lives. Doris and her husband have colds and our son is having a flare up of his psoriasis. Life slips us a little bad along with the good things at times. Thanks for taking time to comment on this one. Sara

"The foggy mist rose swiftly from the creek", "As the creamy plumes were wet beneath" Your imagery is ever so spellbinding dear beautiful Sara. I'm in mesmeric awe everytime I read your poems hued with resplendence.. This one evokes so many emotions.. Of a longing to be lost in the zephyr of nature and devour its essence but only if life permits us... So beautiful as always :)
