Longing For Remorse

I did the same thing once again
Sure enough produced the same old pain
Although I wished it’d taken another course
Longing for remorse

A better flaw I searched to find
In my heart and in my mind
A practice learned by gentle force
Longing for remorse

Resigned to never meet my soul
How to avenge what likely had been stole?
I cowardly avoid the Source
Longing for remorse
