Longevity
To linger longer on our Universe
Hope for many, reality for some.
True legacy? To nurture planet earth -
For future generations yet to come.
Long live the luscious dome of ever green,
Scintillating seas sparkle brilliant blue,
The air, omnipervasive and pristine -
For all who follow after me and you.
Long live the nascent children born to peace,
Unaware what alternative would be,
And common sense prevail as world storms cease
For all who follow after you and me.
Longevity - a longing highly sought,
Lasting legacy counts in afterthought.
