Longer Night

Darkness has bewitched light To ride in the wheels of doom, Fight blind it core sights. Gripped progressions like tight brooms. Rays of hope sunk in distrust, Our wages rust For years in longer nights. Why other years of the nights? For a second becomes longer than an hour, Sights blurred for faint morrow; Perpetual resolutions turn sour On the dreams of better morrow. Awestricken on the slow walk of The millipedes and centipedes, Lost if they'll paddle us to dawn; The day we never cease to dream. Wake you daggers of revenge! To sieve the timeless nights On the bed of progressive lights. Fight the dreaded nights Let the day break now While we're one and our souls alive.
