Long While Ago
a colder winter than I remember
much more than the one before
that's when I had you for warmth
that was a long while ago
can you feel me letting go?
can you feel me slipping away?
does it mean anything to you?
as it all starts to quickly fade
I don't think you could see
how much this all hurt me
as I fought not to let it show
as I tried just to let it be
and it's colder than I remember
colder than the winter before
and it won't get any warmer
when I can finally close this door
