Long Summers

He never understood and yet, He said no matter what went down, We'd still go on, Forgetting one another, And then becoming one, He wished me luck, And blew a kiss, Just my luck, I moved, He missed, If he were to go again, If i said goodbye, No one would remember us, And nothing would survive, For every love, And every lie, For all the sorrow, And all the pride, We live to love, And fight to die, We are all just in it for the ride, He brought new memories, And took away the pain, With forget-me-nots, And long summer days, he would disguise his pain, And lose control, And all i could do was watch, as this life loved, Engulfed other teenage souls.
