Long Distance
My eyes droop as sleep fights its way there
I dont wanna go to sleep with you so far away
I pull my tab closer so your face is right next to mine
With a smile on my face i gladly go to sleep
Its been a long time without you by my side
I can only bring you closer with the late night skype
Early morning calls and daytime chats
But still your physical presence means so much
Ill wait for you no matter how long it takes
Ill love you with every breath i take
Ill hold you when you return in my arms
And i will never let you go all my life
Just a little while and we are together again
Just in an eye blink and you're next to me
Just a reassuring word and smile to keep me hoping
And just a little faith that distance is nothing.
