Long Day

Long Day

It's been a long hard day in the saddle
I'm really tired of fighting with cattle
My hands are all blistered
My leg is injured
My tail bone is raw
My feet need to thaw
My stomach is empty
My eyelids are droopy
I'm tired of the rain
and being in pain
I'm really beat
I need something to eat
With a few hours of shuteye
And if I don't die
I'll get up like most cowmen
and do it all over again
