Lonely Sky

Through an onyx black sky full of brightly lit stars,
Like a comet I fly in the cold void a tail of misery behind me.

Passing by planets like wandering souls,
All can see yet none can or wish to take hold.
Close to a sun I go,
Hoping my wandering days through this cold void now ended;
Tears now join my trail as I leave hurt and burned.

Coldness my sole companion,
 To the darkness I return.
Solace in emptiness never knowing if my journey;
Can or will ever end.
