Lonely Sinners

My time may pass My dreams may die But you can not kill the hope in me My name may be erased Or kept under the place But I will still a part of history I am a sinner in my heart I am a sinner with my eyes I desire so much but I get very little To behold in my hands The sun and the moon To enslave time with chains And make night noon I desire so much but this sinner can not get No gold or silver or wisdom too Lonely in my heart I wish she was here But I have this pain in my heart to bear I am a sinner who is lonely in this world In a land with no people and animals I speak to myself Encouraging myself That things will be good In the future Or that things have been good in the past I see phantoms and ghosts and a host of angels Telling me it is well But how can I tell With a lonely heart in grief I feel relief That the Lord has not forsaken me Eventhough the turbulent waves have overtaken me A lonely sinner lost on an island of shame In a part of the world that I am yet to know its name So I push back to the land of reality And try to use all I have Including my ability Working day and night in search of the dream But I have already left that dream in the land of fantasy
