Lonely Road

I walk a lonely road with trouble on my mind,
Searching for something that isent really all that easy to find.
But the more i look the harder it is, to find that special place,
Its just around the cornor, but it disapears without a trace.

I ask for help from a passer by,but all i get is a stare,
Do i know you they reply? Why should they even care?
Im not asking for your life, nor your money do i need,
A true friend would be nice,to help me set the seed.

Friendships seeds i have set, many years to the day,
Wind ,rain and hardships have wash them all away.
Now the road is long and lonely, and no one seems to care,
They pass you by on the street ,as if your not there.

I look up to the heavens ,and often wonder why,
I am left here on this earth ,lonely and want to die.
I pray to God to end this journey ,to take it all away,
This lonely road is killing me, thats all i have to say.
