Lonely, Not Alone

I feel so extremely lonely, Even though I know I am not alone. There are always people around me, But it feels like a combat zone. People are always fighting with each other, It seems hardly anyone gets along anymore. I, sometimes, wonder why I even bother, I, sometimes, wonder what I am here for. You used to be my bright, shining star, The one who renewed my faith in humanity. But you've changed, become like they are, It fills my head with more insanity. You were so compassionate and caring, But lately you seem cold and unmoving. It seems like your heart has been buried, And once again my love needs proving.
