Lonely Nights

Pitch black nights aren't spent as wished, when I lay comfortable as possible physically but lonely as if I had been in the entire town without seeing another soul for months, only able to picture the one person I want next to me given the fact that having a dream is that in itself, just the site of her beauty isn't enough to satisfy my selfish desire to wrap my arms around her waist pulling her closer to me as though the temperature is too low to have to endure alone, but sadly tonight this desperate wish for physical contact can't become nothing more than further from the truth, losing all hope in chasing this dream I'm left to wonder if these feelings are occupying her mind as much as they're vacant in mine, the thought that maybe she wishes she were staring in my eyes to see her name has been displayed everywhere across the back of my mind. -poetic
