LONELY HELPER
Why wasn't I blessed to have a happy home?
A house, a happy wife, and kids of my own.
Everybody keeps thinking I'm so strong.
But on the inside, I'm really all alone.
It hurts so much that I begin to cry.
As I grow older, the mental pain, I just can't hide.
I'm so lonely in this world; it's no one but me.
Who's going to take care of me if I lose my wife, my mom, and my family?
This situation is so messed up that I just shake my head.
I know it will be a sleepless night lying all alone in my bed.
What am I as a person to do?
When it seems like no one really cares and loves you.
To be a helper is what I say I was born to be,
Making sure everyone else is happy when my life seems like misery.
What does that say about me, to you?
I guess I'm one of "God's Chosen Ones," and it's only a few!
