Lonely Days Are Over - Chapter 3 - Illuminated Night
I’m writing this illuminated night –
Now, I am intrigued!
Dismiss wrath’s wicked winds,
For our love will never meet its end –
Let’s run some errands! ~
It’s time to face it like a boss –
Life with whatever condition we’re in – don’t fuss!
Well, it does depend on our mood
Don’t leave my side – understood?
Be good…be good…
Be faithful like you and I should!
I will praise Him
For His loving-kindness
I will pray to Him
I shall not fall victim to sadness
I’ll just tell it that I’m hanging around with Happiness – I’m booked!
Don’t let it take over me or control my every move
You’re the one that got me hooked
On your serene, gratifying groove
This is all happening in a single illuminated night in a flash of a spotlight!
Feeling loads of lament-lacking delight! I have every write to feel this way and more - to write with my might!
The disco ball’s hanging by the thread, twinkling bright with delight
Let the truth flow into me
Let me dance with glistening glee
Truth is my dancing partner thankfully –
We were caught in a trance, so exquisite to a certain degree
I’d love to have another dance, but can I have a break – that is my only plea!
