Lonely

I’m feeling lonely
Haven’t found my soul mate
If only he’d appear...if only
Don’t let solitude dictate my fate

I need some human contact
A comforting companionship
Someone whose touch I will react
To become an intimate relationship

I have had no love for years
And I’m feeling quite numb
As I write this through my tears
And wish for happiness to come.
