Lonely
I left a sign
to the wind and rain,
to shed my ashes,
free of pain.
Take me on a flowing cloud
where eagles dare,
to be loved,
to be proud.
Take my soul
to friends long gone,
I just know they are singing
Annies song.
They wait for me,
I hear them call,
I just need to feel,
what I felt, once more.
This is not sad,
just contemplating,
I just need some love,
for my heart it is breaking.
