Loneliness

Another night alone.
Loneliness creeps upon me again.
To have someone beside me,
Someone who will hold me while I sleep.
A man who wont expect anything.
A man who will keep me safe while I sleep.
But here I am again.
On this cold winter night.
no one to snuggle up close too.
No one to rest my weary head upon.
A dead silence.
I know I'm alone.
The only sound I hear tonight,
Is my own breathing.
Escaping my body.
Another night alone.
