Loneliness

Have you ever been to a family
and friend gathering
or out on the town
There is this laughter and love
that you feel all around
The night so beautiful you
just want to reach out
and touch
These times you will always
cherish it’s never to much
Socializing over dinner and
laughing so hard you gasp
for air
Believe you me that I have
definitely been there
The night winds down and
time has passed.
Oh Why cant this great night
truly last?
On the drive heading home I
was in serious deep thought
If anyone had seen me they
would say I was distraught
Inside I longed for the
laughter and bliss of the
time I just had
It truly got to me again and
I hate feeling sad
