Loneliness

I feel so alone,
even as I stand in a room
full of people,

Alone
I feel alone.

I try to escape from
my deathly silence,
yet I still stay in isolation.

My thoughts and words,
never understood or heard
by any other,
I feel alone.

So I'll keep my thoughts,
until the day I die,
and deprive the world,
of one voice.

Mine.
