Loneliness

When I call into the night
Calling out your name
And the depth of silence
Answers my pain.

then I have met loneliness

When I reach out a hand
To find stability and balance
And I find just empty space
Then it is loneliness I face

When in the looking glass of life
There is only one face I see
I know that truly lonely soul
is me.
